Sara Ali Khan finally debuts on Instagram; Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor & others follow! Here's her FIRST POST!
Mumbai: 'Simmba' and 'Kedarnth' actress Sara Ali Khan who has been very popular on social media platform far before she shot for her first film opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and now the star kid has finally forayed into social media by making a verified profile on Instagram. The 23-year-old daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh debuted on Instagram on Independence Day, sharing an image rendition of the national anthem with author Rabindra Nath Tagore's pop art. 'Simmba' producer Karan Johar was the one who announced her arrival on the photo sharing platform by posting a picture with her and captioning it - "Welcome the gorgeous and stunning @saraalikhan95 on Instagram!!!!".
Sara celebrated her 23rd birthday on August 12[Sara Ali Khan BIRTHDAY bash with friends and family!] and she was reportedly making her social media debut on the same day but she instead chose to do it on 72nd Independence Day which is, today. Tagore happens to be the actor's direct ancestor. Soon after she joined Instagram, the film fraternity members have started following her including Alia Bhatt, Dia Mirza, Diana Penty and contemporaries like Janhvi Kapoor. In over one hour of joining Instagram, Sara has gathered 1.38lakh followers.(until this article was published). On the work front, Sara will make her Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor's "Kedarnath" this year. She will follow it up with Rohit Shetty's "Simmba".
