Sanjay Dutt Gets Five-Year US Visa, To Fly To New York With Wife Maanayata & Sister Priya For Treatment?

Sanjay Dutt will be reportedly admitted to the same hospital where his mother Nargis underwent treatment for pancreatic cancer.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital for his cancer treatment. The ‘Khalnayak’ actor has been reportedly diagnosed with stage-four lung cancer. Earlier in the day, Sanjay was spotted outside his residence while he was heading to the hospital for some medical tests. His wife Maanayata Dutt had issued a statement in which she asked the fans to ‘stop speculating about Sanjay’s stage of illness’. She also revealed that the ‘Kalank’ actor’s preliminary treatment will take place in Mumbai and the family will decide the travel plans depending on the COVID-19 situation. According to a report in a leading daily, Sanjay Dutt has got a five-year US visa on medical grounds and will fly to New York along with his wife Maanayata and sister Priya Dutt. "Sanju had applied for the visa as soon as he learnt of the diagnosis. However, initially, it wasn't easy to get the clearance since the actor was among those acquitted in the 1993 Bombay blasts. Fortunately, one of his close friends helped the actor secure a five-year visa on medical grounds. He is expected to fly to New York with Maanayata and Priya, where he will pursue treatment at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre," a source told Mid-Day. Sanjay Dutt will undergo treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, the same hospital where his mother Nargis Dutt was admitted for her treatment. The veteran actress was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
