Rishi Kapoor's Daughter Riddhima Remembers Late Actor On His 68th Birth Anniversary; Shares THROWBACK Gems
Rishi Kapoor birth anniversary: Veteran actor's daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni penned a heartfelt post for her father and shared several throwback photos on social media.
New Delhi: Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor left for his heavenly abode on April 30 after a two-year long battle with leukemia. The ‘Mulk’ actor breathed his last at Mumbai’s H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. Several tinsel town celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt mourned his death on social media.

Rishi Kapoor underwent treatment in New York for a year. His wife Neetu Singh provided his rock solid support during the tough times. The ‘Bobby’ actor would have turned 68 on Friday (September 4). On his 68th birth anniversary, Rishi’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to social media to share an emotional post for the late actor.
Riddhima posted several throwback photos with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor along with a heartwarming note. She said that she misses her father every day and will continue to love him.
"Papa, They say when you lose someone, you can’t live without -your heart will badly break! But I know you are living in this broken heart & will be there forever! I know you are watching over all of us & ensuring that we live by the value system you instilled in us! You gave me the gift of compassion -taught me the value of relationships & made me the person I am today! I miss you each day & will always love you! Celebrating you today & always - Happy Birthday," Riddhima wrote.
In one of the photos, Rishi Kapoor can be seen posing with Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu, Riddhima, Bharat Sahni and Samara Sahni.

Hrithik Roshan's mother Pinkie Roshan also shared a throwback photo of Rishi Kapoor in which he can be seen blowing off a candle. She wrote, "#Rishikapoor#chintu#@chintscap#for me my brother who I miss tooo much#happy birthday to a person loved by all#the void you left just gets bigger but I try to fill it with all times spent with you#man is memories#thankyou for all the love and memories and fun and laughter."
Riddhima Kapoor travelled from Delhi to Mumbai via road to extend support to her mother Neetu Singh after Rishi's death. Although, she couldn't attend Rishi Kapoor's funeral, she face-timed with Alia Bhatt to catch last glimpse of her father during his last rites.

Riddhima is currently spending quality time with her mommy at their residence in Mumbai. Riddhima and Ranbir recently hosted a party at their home to celebrate Neetu Singh’s 62nd birthday. Karan Johar and Agastya Nanda also attended the intimate birthday celebrations.
On the professional front, Rishi Kapoor was last seen in 'The Body', which released last year.
