Raid 2 teaser: The teaser of the much-anticipated action-thriller 'Raid 2' has finally been released, promising an adrenaline-pumping cinematic experience. Ajay Devgn reprises his role as the fearless and unyielding IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who is now gearing up for his 74th raid—this time targeting a staggering ₹4200 crore financial scam.

The teaser, packed with intense drama, action, and suspense, introduces a formidable antagonist played by Riteish Deshmukh, who portrays a powerful politician. This hints at an electrifying showdown between Ajay Devgn’s relentless officer and Riteish’s politically influential character. The film, directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial in pivotal roles.

Much like its predecessor, 'Raid 2' draws inspiration from real-life incidents involving high-profile income tax operations. The sequel delves into the intricate world of financial fraud and large-scale corruption, portraying the relentless efforts of IRS officers working alongside intelligence agencies to unearth economic crimes.

The film is a follow-up to the 2018 blockbuster Raid, which was widely praised for its gripping narrative and Ajay Devgn’s powerful performance as the determined officer. In this sequel, Vaani Kapoor steps into the lead female role, replacing Ileana D’Cruz from the first installment.

Raid 2 will be released in theatres on May 1, 2025.
