New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra is currently busy promoting her upcoming high-on-action spy-thriller series 'Citadel', that also marks her OTT debut. The actor has already signed a new contract with Amazon Studios before the show even airs. She will next be seen in the action movie 'Heads of State' alongside actor Idris Elba and former professional wrestler John Cena.

In addition to 'Citadel', Priyanka is getting ready for the release of her Hollywood movie Love Again, in which she co-stars with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. The film is slated for release in May. She also stars in the movies 'Ending Things' with Anthony Mackie and Bollywood film 'Jee Le Zara', which is directed by actor-director Farhan Akhtar and also stars Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, alongside Priyanka.

The filming of 'Heads of State' is scheduled to start in May, according to a report on Deadline. The script has been written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec based on a story by Harrison Query, and it will be directed by Ilya Naishuller of 'Nobody' fame. The source also makes a suggestion that the movie will be similar to Air Force One meets Midnight Run.

Before beginning the promotions for Citadel, Priyanka was most recently spotted at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center's opening in Mumbai. Priyanka attended the Mumbai premiere of The Citadel on Tuesday after the two-day NMACC inauguration celebration over the weekend. Richard Madden, one of her co-stars, also joined her. On April 28, the first two episodes of the series will be available on Amazon Prime worldwide in 40 different languages. Thereafter, new episodes will be released.

'Citadel' follows elite agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, who had their memories wiped as they narrowly escaped with their lives after independent global spy agency Citadel’s fall.

It sees the two protagonists build new lives under new identities, unaware of their pasts. Until one night, when Mason is tracked down by his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), who desperately needs his help to prevent rival agency Manticore from establishing a new world order.

Mason seeks out Nadia, his former partner, and the two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world in an effort to stop Manticore, all while contending with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous-yet-undying love.
