Priyanka Chopra Bares It All In Memoir 'Unfinished', Opens Up On Her Botched Nose Surgery
Priyanka Chopra also mentioned how she chose not to react to the 'Plastic Chopra' tag given by the media post her surgery.
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has revealed several antecedes in her memoir ‘Unfinished’. While most of the tinsel town celebs won’t dare to talk about their surgeries, PeeCee has opened up about her botched nose surgery in her book. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ star said that her surgery affected her self-esteem as her face looked completely different after her polypectomy went wrong.

According to People, Priyanka mentioned about the surgery which took place in 2001 after a year she was crowned Miss World. The doctors discovered that the ‘Quantico’ actress had a ‘polyp’ in her nasal cavity. Piggy Chops talked about the same in her book and said it all started with a ‘lingering head cold’ which she thought of a sinus problem. However, it turned out to be serious and she had to undergo a polypectomy which didn’t turn out well.
The ‘Fashion’ actress further stated that she and her mother Madhu Chopra were shocked after the doctors removed the bandage. The global icon wrote that her face looked completely different post her surgery.
Priyanka also opened up on receiving the tag of ‘Plastic Chopra’ by the media and the people. She revealed that she got corrective surgeries done but chose not to talk about the same back then.
The ‘Barfi’ star said that it took her time to seeing a ‘stranger gaze back’ at her but she has now got accustomed to her face. “I've made peace with this slightly different me,” Chopra wrote in her memoir.
On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra was recently seen in ‘The White Tiger’. The movie co-starring Rajlummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav is the official adaptation of Aravind Adiga's novel of the same name. It premiered on Netflix on January 22, 2021.
