Pakistani Cricketer Shoaib Akhtar On 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' Pasoori Temake: ‘Ae Ki Pasoori Hai'

New Delhi: The Pasoori remake in 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' starring Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan has created quite a storm in India. Not just Indians, Pakistanis too are not very happy with the Ali Sethi's track's remake. On Tuesday, Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar tweeted the funniest reaction to the new song which generated quite a buzz on Twitter.
Taking to Twitter, Shoaib wrote, "Aye ki pasoori paayi ay (What a disaster).” The tweet got 5000 likes and was retweeted multiple times. Soon after, a user commented on Shoaib's tweets. "Beraa ghark kr k rkh dea (they have ruined it),” they wrote. Another person commented, “Pasoori ruined by T-Series as usual.” A Twitter user replied, “Another Day another humiliation for T-series.”
Recently, the makers of 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' unveiled the recreated song 'Pasoori Nu' from the film on Monday morning. The new version generated a mixed response from audiences. The new version of the song has been crooned by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar.

Ali Sethi's Pasoori, which was released last year, became a chartbuster and generated a lot of buzz for it's fusion beats. The Punjabi track which means 'a mess' was 2022's most-searched song on Google and has now surpassed half a billion views on YouTube. The track was released on Coke Studio’s channel on YouTube. The song has some 598 million views on the Coke Studio channel.
Satyaprem Ki Katha
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sameer Vidwas, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' reunites Kartik and Kiara after last year's hit film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. Rajpal Yadav, Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak, are also part of the film.
‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ is slated to be released on June 29, 2023.
