OOPSS! Deepika's H'wood red carpet debut marked as 'B'wood blunder' by an UK daily

Looks like Deepika Padukone's debut red carpet appearance in the West did not go as well as expected. The 30-year-old Bollywood Diva, who went to the MTV EMA grants at Rotterdam this year in a Monisha Jaising creation, could not  awe the design masters out there. An international daily not only featured her among the 'Worst Dressed Celebs,' but also tagged her as a 'BollywoodBlunder.' SEE PICS: Deepika Padukone looks like a green goddess as she makes her International RED CARPET debut at MTV EMAs 2016! The Daily Mail's exact words read as follows, "Bollywoodblunder: Indian actress Deepika Padukone may be stunning but her swamp green bralet and skirt combo did nothing for her sensational figure." Deepika, who is all set to release her Hollywood debut 'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' next year alongside Vin Diesel, was one of the presenters at the event along with her co-star Nina Dobrev. PICS & VIDEO: Deepika Padukone looks absolutely GORGEOUS in Vogue photoshoot On a related note, Daily Mail is the same publication which once failed to recognize the actress, when she stepped out with Novak Djokovic, and got heavily trolled by the Indian audience. As a result, they then had to apologise by re-introducing Deepika in the same article. The 'Mastani' of Bollywood may have failed to dazzle the EMAs with her not-so-impressive fashion sense, but her charm and elegance can never be ignored. ANI
