NCB Takes Armaan Kohli In Custody For Questioning After Recovering Drugs During Raid At His House

The NCB conducted a raid at Armaan Kohli's house, a day after arresting TV actor Gaurav Dixit in an alleged drugs case.

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau conducted a raid at the residence of Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli in Mumbai, according to a report in ANI. The anti-drugs law enforcement agency recovered drugs during a raid at Kohli's house. The NCB took him to its office for questioning after conducting the raid. 

NCB Recovers Drugs During Raid At Armaan Kohli's House, To Question Him

The NCB recovered drugs during their raid at Armaan's residence as part of their investigation in an alleged Bollywood drugs case. He will be questioned at the agency's office in Mumbai. 

This comes a day after the NCB arrested TV actor Gaurav Dixit in connection with an alleged drugs case. The federal agency arrested Gaurav Dixit after his name came to the fore during Ajaz Khan’s interrogation. He has been sent to a NCB custody till August 30, according to ANI. The officials recovered MD and Charas while conducting a raid at Dixit's house in Mumbai. 

Armaan Kohli Gave Ambiguous Answers: NCB Zonal Director

NCB Zonal Director (Mumbai) Sameer Wankhede said that the actor gave ambiguous replies to official's questions after the raid. He said that Kohli has been taken to custody for questioning at the NCB office.

Who Is Armaan Kohli?

Armaan, who is the son of filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi, worked as a child artist in films like 'Badle Ki Aag' and 'Raaj Tilak'. He made his debut as a leading hero with 'Vidrohi' in 1992. The actor also featured in movies like 'Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani', 'Veere' and 'LOC: Kargil'.

Armaan grabbed several eyeballs during his stint in Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss 13' in 2013. He was arrested for alleged physical abuse with 'BB 7' co-contestant Sofia Hayat on December 16, 2013. The actor was granted bail the next day. 

Sofia had filed a complaint against Armaan at Mumbai's Santacruz police station, accusing him of using 'unparliamentary language', a report in PTI said. 

Armaan made his return to Bollywood with 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' after a sabbatical of 12 years.  He played a negative role in the movie, which starred Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles.
