New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave his 100th speech on Sunday to the country on his regular radio show, 'Mann Ki Baat'. The monthly radio programme was first aired on October 3, 2014.

At various locations, including the United Nations headquarters in New York, the momentous occasion was broadcast live. 

Several celebrities shared their thoughts on the PM's speech during the 100th 'Mann Ki Baat' episode.

“I felt inspired, if one leader can show us the right path, there is nothing impossible," filmmaker Rohit Shetty told the news agency ANI.

Shahid Kapoor, who was present for the live telecast, lauded PM Modi for his connect with people of the nation. “Modi ji wanted to stay connected with people, that is the sign of a great leader...I felt very fortunate that I was called here...," Shahid Kapoor said.

In the 100th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat', Prime Minister Modi addressed the significance of clean natural areas for the expansion of India's tourism industry as well as how "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" helps to improve gender ratios. On March 26, the 99th episode of Mann Ki Baat aired, and PM Modi focused on issues like India's uniform organ donation law.
