Mahesh Babu Pens Heartfelt Post For COVID-19 Health Workers, Calls Them 'True Superheroes'

Mahesh Babu requested his followers to be kind and courteous towards the medical workers, who are working hard to keep the people safe amid Coronavirus pandemic.

New Delhi: The Coronavirus outbreak has brought the world to a standstill, forcing the people to stay locked inside their homes. The deadly virus has wreaked havoc all across the world, claiming several lives. The healthcare workers and police officers are working round the clock to fight against COVID-19. Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, who is known for his power-packed performances, penned a heartfelt post for the healthcare workers. The ‘Spyder’ actor expressed his gratitude and lauded the Corona warriors for working ‘selflessly and tirelessly’ to keep the people safe amid the tough times. He shared a collage photo along with his thought-provoking post. Mahesh also asked his followers to be kind and courteous towards medical workers, whom the actor called ‘superheroes’. People who protect us need to be protected, let's respect and honour their sacrifices. The greatest gift we can give each other in these trying times is our love and empathy. The 'Pokiri' actor donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister's relief fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to support the government's fight against Coronavirus. The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a hit on the daily wage workers, who are left with no jobs due to the lockdown.  Mahesh babu also donated Rs. 25 lakhs for TFI workers and even urged his fellow actors to contribute their bit. "The lockdown situation adversely impacts the lives of daily wage cine workers. Will be contributing Rs. 25 lakhs towards Corona crisis charity for TFI workers. Requesting all fellow actors to come forward and make their contributions in these testing times #StayHomeStaySafe," Mahesh Babu had earlier tweeted. On the professional front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'. The film had set the cash registers jingling by raking in big moolah at the box office.
