The trailer of ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2,' directed by Dibakar Banerjee, was released on Friday giving a glimpse of a story that delves into the world of the dark digital era.

After fourteen years director Dibakar Banerjee and Ekta Kapoor are back with the sequel of their 2010 groundbreaking film ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha.’ The trailer of ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ was released on Friday giving a glimpse of a story that delves into the world of the dark digital era.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 trailer
The trailer was shared with the caption, “Served HOT for the digital generation. Ek baar phir hoga Love, Sex aur Dhokha.”

Unapologetically bold in its presentation, the trailer unfolds a whirlwind of emotions, from betrayal and drama to abuse, all presented against a backdrop of trippy visuals and explicit content. Through the stories of three distinct characters, the film offers insight into the complexities of a generation that is immersed in social media addiction and the digital world.

Dibakar Banerjee on the film
Talking about the film director Dibakar Banerjee had earlier said, “Making ‘LSD’ and not showing the truth is not possible. So, while making ‘LSD 2’, we portrayed the same truth, an authentic picture of life that we see all around us. But, these days, instead of believing the truth, the fashion of ignoring the truth has increased.”

Ekta Kapoor on the film
Producer Ekta Kapoor recently said that she might have to go into hiding after the release of the film. In an interview with Variety, Ekta shared that the backlash she received for 'Thank You For Coming' has left her apprehensive about the potential reactions to the much bolder 'LSD 2' upon its release.

“And the hate spamming we went through – our walls used to be spammed every day with hatred, because we attempted to discover and make a movie on female sexuality. I can only imagine what’s gonna happen when LSD 2 comes. I think I’ll have to hide again,” she told Variety.

The film starring, Mouni Roy, Swastika Mukherjee, Tushar Kapoor, Uorfi Javed and Anu Malik, will be released in theatres on April 19th.
