‘Laxmii’: ‘Bigg Boss 14’ Toofani Senior Sidharth Shukla Participates In Akshay Kumar’s Campaign #AbHumariBaariHai

Ahead of its release, Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram and started a campaign #AbHumariBaariHai in order to support the transgender community.

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Laxmii’ is all set to release digitally on November 9. The film has remained in the limelight ever since the makers unveiled the intriguing trailer of the film. The horror comedy-drama was earlier titled 'Laxmmi Bomb' but the makers decided to change the title after discussing with the Central Board of Film Certification. Laxmii: Makers Share New Poster Featuring Akshay Kumar & Kiara Advani After Title Change ‘Laxmii’ tells the story of a man who gets possessed by the spirit of a transgender who seeks revenge from all those who have done wrong to her. Ahead of its release, Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram and started a campaign #AbHumariBaariHai in order to support the transgender community and urged people for the third gender’s acceptance in society. The ‘BellBottom’ actor can be seen sporting a red bindi in the post. Akshay Kumar’s caption read while sharing the picture, “Maine toh laga li hai pyaar aur samanta ki Laal Bindi. Now it's your turn to join me using 'Ab Hamari Baari Hai' filter on Instagram as a symbol of love and acceptance for the third gender! Filter link in bio.”

Now, ‘Bigg Boss 14’ Toofani senior, who is also the winner of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ took to his Instagram and came out in support of the ‘Padman’ actor’s campaign. Shukla can also be seen sporting the red bindi filter in the picture. While sharing, he wrote, “Really admire the initiative that Akki sir has started. We got to take a step beyond and show love, acceptance, and support towards the third gender. Let’s wear the Laal Bindi and come together kyunki #AbHamariBaariHai unka saath dene ki jinhone aaj tak hamari khushi mein saath diya.”
