Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's outing with their son Taimur was cut short after a police officer reminded them that kids are supposed to stay inside their homes.

New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic has brought the world to a standstill, forcing the people to stay inside their homes. PM Narendra Modi had announced nationwide lockdown to combat the spread of COVID-19. People in India followed social distancing to keep the deadly virus at bay. The ‘Unlock 1.0’ phase has started after two-and-a-half months and people are finally stepping out of their homes. Bollywood couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan took their son Taimur Ali Khan for a walk at Mumbai’s Marine Drive on Sunday.

Kareena wore a black printed dress while Saif was seen in a kurta pyjama. Taimur enjoyed a rife on his daddy’s shoulders while Bebo looked on. The pictures of the couple and the little munchkin are going viral on social media.

Saif and Kareena were also accompanied by their son’s nanny. A police officer told the couple that they are not supposed to bring a kid outside. He said, “Bache Ko Bahar Nahi Lana Hai.” The two tinsel town celebs then reacted, “Bahar Nahi Lana Hai?”

The government has issued some guidelines, which suggest that kids and elderly people should stay indoors. Saif and Kareena headed back to their house after the cop made them aware of the guidelines.

Saif Ali Khan got trolled on social media for not wearing a mask while taking a walk at Marive Drive. Twitter users were not pleased with Saif for strolling on the streets without taking proper precautionary measures during the COVID-19 crisis.

"I’m a little confused here. Why are they not wearing a mask throughout? Why is taimur not masked at all? I don’t mean to make any assumptions from a few pictures. If anyone knows the entire story, enlighten me please?," one user tweeted.

Another user wrote, "#KareenaKapoor and #SaifAliKhan step out today with Taimur found roaming on promenade at Marine Drive, Now the video is viral ...  @MumbaiPolice saying baccho ko bahar nahi le jana hai."

Twitterati also slammed Kareena and Saif for not making their son Taimur wear a mask.

On the professional front, Kareena and Saif were last seen in 'Angrezi Medium' and 'Jawaani Jaaneman' respectively. Bebo has a couple of exciting projects in her kitty including 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and 'Takht'.
