Shahid Kapoor's 'Kabir Singh' Continues To Be A Box Office Phenomenon; Mints Rs 12.21 Crore On Second Friday

Shahid Kapoor & Kiara Advani starrer 'Kabir Singh' is unstoppable at the Box office in its second week as well.

Shahid Kapoor & Kiara Advani starrer 'Kabir Singh' is on a record-breaking spree, despite rains, World Cup matches and new releases. On second Friday, the movie has raked in an impressive Rs 12.21 crores thereby making the grand total to Rs 146.63 crores. Interestingly, 'Kabir Singh' also surpasses the second Friday box office collections of the Hollywood blockbuster, Avengers Endgame (12 crores). Shahid Kapoor's mania refuses to die down at the ticket windows as 'Kabir Singh' remains unaffected by this week's release 'Article 15' starring Ayushmann Khurrana having less number of screens. The movie's dream run at the box office has surprisingly surpassed the collections of the biggest box office hits released this year so far thereby creating a new box office record for Shahid Kapoor. The movie, which has wooed the audience and taken the nation by storm, has also brought Shahid the appreciation he deserves for portraying such a complex character. The record-breaking success of 'Kabir Singh' reinstates the actor’s faith in a film high on content, performance, critical acclaim and box office.
