Pooja Hegde Confirmed To Romance Salman Khan In 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'

Directed by 'Housefull 4' fame Farhad Samji, 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' to feature Pooja Hegde opposite Salman Khan.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is currently busy shooting for Prabhu Deva's 'Radh: Your Most Wanted Bhai' & 'Bigg Boss 13', announced his next film titled 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' last month. To be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' is slated to release on Eid 2021. The actor's fans are super-excited for the film since its announcement and now the makers have revealed film's lead actress' name. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has confirmed that 'Housefull 4' actress Pooja Hegde will be seen romancing 'Dabangg 3' star in 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'.

Confirming the same, Sajid told a leading daily that, "Having worked with Pooja in Housefull 4, we felt she was a perfect fit for this film. She has an amazing screen presence and will make for a good pair with Salman. They will bring freshness to the story." The combination of Salman Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala & Eid festival has always worked wonder for the film.

Salman Khan Cancels US Tour Organised By Pakistani Promoter: Reports Talking about how it is a special subject for him as well as Salman & director Farhad Samji, Sajid further told Mumbai Mirror that, "Judwaa was one of Salman and Bollywood’s first Eid releases. Even my directorial debut, Kick, opened during the festival." The makers of 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' have planned several workshops for the lead couple till the first shoot schedule in October to help the duo break the ice.

The report further states that, Salman Khan will be presented in a completely new avatar in the film. While the makers are yet to finalise his look, lead actress Pooja Hegde will be seen as a traditional small-town girl who is the polar opposite of Salman’s character.
