Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who recently wrapped-up the shooting of Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Bharat' with Katrina Kaif, is all set to reunite with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after around 20 years of 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' (excluding 'Saawariya' in which the actor played a cameo). There were reports that top actresses including Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are in contention to play the lead role opposite Salman in the upcoming film titled 'Inshahallah'. Today (19th March), Salman Khan finally announced the name of film's leading lady and she is none other than Alia Bhatt. CONFIRMED! Alia Bhatt, who is all set to be a Bhansali heroine, shared her excitement on being a part of 'Inshahallah' on social media. She took to her Twitter accounjt and wrote, "I was 9 when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. It's been a long wait." She further tweeted, "Dream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I can't wait to join them on this beautiful journey called “Inshallah” #Inshallah #SLB @BeingSalmanKhan @bhansali_produc @SKFilmsOfficial @prerna982" This will be the first time when Alia Bhatt will be working with both Salman Khan & Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Whereas, Salman & Bhansali first worked together in 1996 film 'Khamoshi: The Musical' also featuring Manisha Koirala in the lead role. After finishing 'Dabangg 3', Salman Khan will reportedly start shooting for 'Inshahallah' in September. Salman is jointly producing the film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. While Salman has 'Bharat' and 'Dabangg 3', Alia Bhatt's recent release 'Gully Boy' became a huge hit and she also has films like 'Kalank' and 'Brahmastra' in her kitty. Stay tuned for more updates!
