I am single because of Ajay Devgn, says Tabu

NEW DELHI: Since long time, she has been doing serious roles but now critically acclaimed actor Tabu is making her comeback to slapstick comedies. She is busy shooting for Rohit Shetty's 'Golmaal' franchise which also stars Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu and Parineeti Chopra. This will be the first venture of Rohit and Tabu together. In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, the 'Drishyam' actress revealed an amusing piece of information regarding actor Ajay Devgn. She said they know each other for 25 years as Ajay was neighbour and close friend of her cousin. Both Ajay and her cousin used to stalk her and threaten to thrash boys who were seen talking to Tabu. "When I was young, Sameer and Ajay would spy on me, follow me around and threaten to beat up any boys who are caught talking to me. They were the big bullies and if I am single today, it is because of Ajay. I hope he repents and regrets what he did", says Tabu. Tabu says that they share an 'unconditional affection' and Ajay is the only male actor on whom she can count on. She has also told Ajay to find a suitable groom for her, reveals Tabu. " He is a like a child and yet so protective," says the actress. Meanwhile, there is good news for fans who were missing this pair. Ajay and Tabu will be seen romancing each other on screen after 23 long years. The flick which will be helmed by Luv Ranjan is an urban rom com. The last movie which they did together was 'Vijaypath' in 1994.
