New Delhi: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma gave birth to her first child earlier this year. She welcomed a baby girl with her husband Virat Kohli on January 11, 2021. Soon after Virushka’s daughter Vamika’s birth, fans became eager to get a glimpse of their little munchkin. The ‘NH10’ actress shared an adorable family picture where she can be seen holding her little baby in her arms as Virat Kohli adorably looks at her.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day earlier today, Virat Kohli shared an appreciation post for his daughter Vamika and wife Anushka Sharma as he posted an adorable picture of the mother-daughter duo.
After Virat shared this post, new mommy Anushka Sharma also took to her Instagram and shared a cute throwback picture with her mother where the ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ actress can be seen cutting the cake with her mom’s help. While sharing the picture, Anushka wrote, “Let's celebrate the strong ones, the silently resilient ones, the ones who break themselves down to become better, more aware nurturers. The ones through whom we have all come to be. The mothers! 💫 #HappyWomensDay”
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli penned down this beautiful note for Anushka and wishes his daughter to be like ‘her mother’. The note read, “Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine chilling, unbelievable and amazing experience a human being can have. After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It's because they are way stronger than us men. Happy Women's Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who's going to grow up to be like her mother ❤️. And also a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world.”
