Govinda Naam Mera: Fans Are Going Gaga Over Ranbir Kapoor’s Cameo In This Vicky Kaushal-Starrer

Fans were surprised to discover that Ranbir Kapoor had a cameo in 'Govinda Naam Mera', which stars Vicky Kaushal.

New Delhi: Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, and Bhumi Pednekar's 'Govinda Naam Mera', which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on Friday, surprised fans when they noticed that Ranbir Kapoor has made a brief appearance in the movie.

Along with Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir has a cameo appearance in the dance number 'Bijli'. After seeing the movie, viewers realised that Ranbir also shows up as himself in another scene. Several short clips were shared on Twitter, and many fans raved about his endearing screen presence and overall influence on the movie.

In the movie clip that was tweeted, Ranbir plays himself and features in a scene with Vicky and Kiara. Ganesh Acharya, a Bollywood choreographer, is also shown in the scene.

Vicky Kaushal plays the major role in the crime comedy movie 'Govinda Naam Mera', which also stars Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar.

The film's official synopsis reads: The story of Govinda Waghmare, a small-time junior background dancer. Life is not going great for this boy next door as he owns a huge amount of money in debt and his house is at stake. To make matters worse, his wife Gauri (Bhumi) is having an affair and also physically abuses him. The only silver lining in Govinda's life is his girlfriend Suku (Kiara Advani), with whom he loves to dance in the Mumbai rains.

The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The movie was released on Disney+ Hotstar on December 16.
