New Delhi: For 'Gadar 2', Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel teamed together once again after 22 years. The film has broken box office records and earned over Rs 300 crore in India in just 8 days. The movie capitalised on the audience's sentiments and became a smash success. This last week saw tremendous progress, and the story's fascinating plot successfully held the interest of moviegoers. The movie is running successfully in theatres.

Despite reports that the box office performance of 'Gadar 2' was a little lower than expected, Sunny Deol's film has now crossed the Rs 300 crore mark. 

Notably, in territories like Punjab, ‘Gadar 2’ has soared to a remarkable all-time high for any Hindi film. With a net collection of 20.50 crores on Day 8 and an overall net of 305.13 crores, Gadar 2’s cinematic journey is a testament to its enduring appeal and box office dominance.

The fact that 'Gadar 2' is making money alongside another moderately large movie, 'OMG 2', is impressive.

On Monday, The cast and crew of ‘Gadar 2’ held a press conference to discuss the movie's enormous success.

Sunny reacted to the very positive reception Gadar 2 received from moviegoers: "I was quite stressed before the release of the movie. When the movie was released, I cried and laughed the entire night. My father was around and he saw me. I told him, 'I have not had alcohol. Main khush aa main ki kara (I am happy, what can I do)'."

Helmed by Director-Producer Anil Sharma, and produced by Zee Studios, the movie stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles.
