Film producer hangs himself to death after watching film preview

New Delhi: Malyalam film producer Ajay Krishnan was found dead at his residence in Thirumullavaram, Kollam (Kerala) on Saturday. According to the reports, the Malyalam film producer committed suicide after watching a preview of the upcoming film. Leading daily New Indian Express quoted a police source saying, “He was concerned over the success of the film at the box office. He had also shared his concern with his parents. It seems that the film cost him Rs 4 crore and he was facing financial crisis. This might have forced him to take the extreme step.” Reportedly,  Ajay’s parents, Radhakrishnan Pillai and Jayakumari, were at home when the incident took place.
