Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Esha told that her marriage happened on June 29, 2012. Her mother, Legendary actress of Bollywood, Hema Malini had arranged for a priest from tirupathi. The priest spoke tamil only and none of the family members understood him. So she said , “This time it’s a Sindhi priest who speaks Hindi too, so my in-laws will at least understand what is being said.” She further stated, “Over the last five years, Bharat and I have become as thick as thieves. Since I’m pregnant, I’m prone to mood swings now but he’s tolerated them and is extremely protective. He’s also my best critic, encouraging me in everything I do. At the risk of sounding filmy, I’ll say I wouldn’t want to change anything, life’s beautiful!” Esha and Bharat were childhood friends and had met each other on inter school competitions. Bharat had a huge crush on Esha. This lead to their close friendship which turned into a beautiful marriage.
