Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor congratulating Ayushmann Khurrana for winning the best actor award at the 66th National Film Awards.

New Delhi: Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor took to her social media congratulating Ayushmann Khurrana on his winning spree at The National Awards. Ekta was all praises for the actor as she tweeted saying, "It is not just because @ayushmannk is doing our next film Dreamgirl, but kudos to his consistency in choosing great scripts and delivering crackling performances everytime! His last 6 films, right from Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Savdhaan,". She further said, "Andhadhun, Badhai Ho & Article 15 have cemented him as one of the most reliable young stars! Congratulations Ayushmann on your #NationalAward win! May you Continue this ‘dream’ run!" Ayushmann Khurrana who has delivered six back to back hits with Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Savdhaan, Andhadhun, Badhai Ho & Article 15 is all set to deliver yet another quirky drama titled Dream Girl. It is surely going to be a visual treat for the audience to witness Ayushmann in an unconventional avatar and fans are already excited for this one. Apart from Ayushmann, The film will also see Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, and Manjot Singh to name a few. Backed by Ekta Kapoor, the film is being helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is slated to hit the big screens on September 13, this year.
