New Delhi: Bollywood fans finally got to see Ratna Pathak Shah's new flick 'Dhak Dhak' in theatres today. Both audiences and reviewers have praised the film thus far, especially for its strong depiction of female empowerment in the context of the subculture of female motorcyclists. Twitter users agree that Dhak Dhak's greatest strength is in celebrating the power of female friendship and the joy of travel.

The film stars Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi. After meeting each other, they decide to go on a life-changing bike trip together to Khardung La. These four superwomen go on an adventure together that takes them farther than any heroine in contemporary cinema has gone.
