Deepika Padukone Remembers Irrfan Khan, Shares UNSEEN Video Of Them Playing Tennis On Sets Of ‘Piku’

Deepika Padukone's heartbreaking post for her 'Piku' co-star Irrfan Khan will leave you teary-eyed.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan left for his heavenly abode on April 29, leaving the industry in a state of shock. The ‘Hindi Medium’ actor's presence is being missed not only by his family members but also by his co-stars. Deepika Padukone shared an unseen video on social media in which she can be seen playing tennis with Irrfan Khan on the sets of their film ‘Piku’. Deepika, who was last seen in ‘Chhapaak’, posted the video along with the caption that will make you emotional. Remembering the ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ actor, DP wrote, “please come back! #irrfankhan.” The ‘Padmaavat’ actress can be seen smashing the ball to Irrfan Khan’s court in the short clip. Mahhi Vij and Sanjeeda Shaikh dropped hearts emoji in the comments section. Check out the video!

Irrfan and Deepika starrer ‘Piku’ completed five years of release on May 8, 2020. The ‘Tamasha’ actress had dedicated a song from the film to Irrfan in her heartbreaking post.

Irrfan and Deepika’s sizzling chemistry in ‘Piku’ was quite a hit among the audience. The film co-starring Amitabh Bachchan raked in big moolah at the box office. Irrfan Khan, who diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in 2018, took his last breathe at Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai. He is survived by his wife Sutapa Sikdar and sons Babil and Ayan. The talented actor was last seen on the silver screen in ‘Angrezi Medium’, which had a short run at the box office as the cinema halls were closed due to COVID-19 pandemic.
