Coronavirus: Eros Registers 'Corona Pyaar Hai' As Film Title Amid COVID-19 Outbreak

Amid Coronavirus scare, Bollywood filmmakers are set to make films on the global COVID-19 pandemic and have already registered titles like 'Corona Pyaar Hai', 'Deadly Corona'.

New Delhi: The whole world is currently battling with Coronavirus health scare due to which the people are in a state of panic. While enough preventive health measures have been suggested by health experts, COVID-19 is wreaking havoc globally. Coronavirus outbreak has affected film industries all over the world including Bollywood. B-Town filmmakers have delayed the release of various much-awaited films including 'Sooryavanshi'. While shooting of 'Jersey' and 'Brahmastra' got cancelled, filmmakers are now planning to make movies on the global Coronavirus pandemic. Yes, you read that right! Coronavirus Scare: Amitabh Bachchan Cancels Ritual Of ‘Sunday Meet' With Fans Due To COVID-19 Outbreak As per latest reports, Eros International has already registered a film title 'Corona Pyaar Hai' giving a hilarious twist to Hrithik Roshan’s debut film 'Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai' which released in 2000. Revealing the same, a source from IFTPC (Indian Film and Television Producer Council) informed a leading daily that "Eros International registered Corona Pyaar Hai as their film title last week." Confirming the same, producer Krishika Lulla told TOI that, "Currently the scripting is going on. The subject (of the epidemic) is going to be set in a love story. Currently, we are fine tuning the script and are waiting for things to subside, as things have come to a standstill now. Once everything is normal, we will start the project in full swing." The report further states that another interesting title 'Deadly Corona' has also been registered by another film body IMPPA (Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association. Speaking further about Coronavirus, Ministry of Family and Health Welfare on Sunday updated that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases across India is 107 (including foreign nationals as on 15th March at 12 PM).
