Coronavirus: Shah Rukh Khan & Gauri Khan Offer Four-storey Office to BMC to Expand Quarantine Capacity

After announcing several initiates to support the government in the fight against COVID-19, SRK has now offered his four-storey personal office in Mumbai to BMC to help the officials expand their quarantine capacity.

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan announced several initiatives towards relief with his group of companies, Kolkata Knight Riders, Red Chillies Entertainment, Meer Foundation and Red Chillies VFX to support the efforts of PM Narendra Modi and the Central government in the fight against Coronavirus. In a recent development, the 'Chennai Express' star has further gone an extra mile and offered a four-storey personal office to help BMC in order to expand their quarantine capacity. Expressing their gratitude towards SRK, BMC took to their Twitter handle to share, “#StrongerTogether We thank @iamsrk & @gaurikhan for offering their 4-storey personal office space to help expand our Quarantine capacity equipped with essentials for quarantined children, women & elderly. Indeed a thoughtful & timely gesture! #AnythingForMumbai #NaToCorona”.

With his recent announcement of incredible initiatives,  the 'Zero' actor has extended his support with his group of companies and is being lauded for his generosity. King Khan announced initiatives like providing 50,000 PPE kits to healthcare workers, three lakh meal kits for 10,000 people, grocery for 2500 daily wage workers in Delhi. He also pledged to offer financial assistance to acid attack survivors. “In these times it’s imp to make everyone around u working tirelessly for u.. not related to u.. perhaps even unknown to u... to feel they are not alone and by themselves. Let’s just make sure we all do our little bit to look after each other. India and all Indians are One Family,” SRK's tweet read.
