CONFIRMED! Vidya Balan to play a brothel madam in 'Begum Jaan' !

Versatile actress Vidya Balan is yet again gearing up for yet another bold role in her upcoming movie 'Begum Jaan'. 'The Dirty Picture' actress will portray the character of a brothel madam in her upcoming flim. FIRST LOOK of Vidya Balan from Kahani 2; Sujoy Ghosh shares an intriguing picture! The film is a Hindi remake of a Bengali movie Raj Kahini and is being directed by Srijit Mukherjee. The original had Rituparna Sengupta essay the role which Vidya will play in the Hindi version. Vidya Balan to portray Kamala Surayya in biopic ! Produced by Mahesh Bhatt, it will highlight the repercussions of the Partition on a brothel's women, who were displaced after the border was drawn. The director has announced that the shoot will begin in June.
