Chhapaak: Trailer of Deepika Padukone's Film To Release On THIS Date!

Featuring Vikrant Massey opposite Deepika Padukone, Meghna Gulzar's 'Chhapaak' is all set to hit the screens on 10th January next year.

Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in 'Padmaavat' which released in January 2018, took a small-break from films after her wedding with Ranveer Singh last year. However, the actress is now all set to win hearts with her next film 'Chhapaak' directed by Meghna Gulzar. Featuring Vikrant Massey opposite Deepika, 'Chhapaak' is a true-life story based on acid attack survival Laxmi Agarwal and has already created a huge buzz. Now, the makers have finally announced the date of 'Chhapaak' trailer release. 'Chhapaak' trailer is set to release tomorrow (10th December) on the occasion of 'World Human Rights Day' which is a perfect coincidence given that the film is based on the life and survival of an acid attack victim. Film's lead actress Deepika Padukone took to her social media account and announced the same. She shared, "A moment is all it took... As reported earlier, Deepika will be seen playing the role of an acid attack survivor 'Malti' in 'Chhapaak' and her first look from the film was released in March this year which was praised by fans as well as Bollywood celebs including Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Parineeti Chopra and Rajkummar Rao. Meghna Gulzar, who has earlier directed much-acclaimed films like 'Talvar' and 'Raazi',  is known for her different choices as a filmmaker and the fans are expecting a lot from 'Chhapaak' as well.
