CBFC clears Salman Khan’s Sultan with no cuts

The censor Board has passed Salman Khan's 'Sultan' without a single cut. Not only that the CBFC has praised the movie as well. Says a source from the CBFC, "We found not a word or a shot that needed to be cut. Salman Khan has always been part of films that cater to the entire family. Sultan is his most family-oriented film in years." Also: Salman was LIFTED and THROWN in the ring for REAL in Sultan! Actor Salman Khan, who plays a wrestler in Ali Abbas Zafar-directed ‘Sultan’ earlier said that most of the fights in the film are real, without cables and with real wrestlers. “When Ali narrated to the me the story I thought I’ll be able to do it. But then while doing it, opposite me were not fighters but real wrestlers. Most of the shots in the film are real, wrestlers and Mixed Marital Arts, there are no cables and because of them there is lot of contact happening in the film. When they lift you and put to the ground it used to hurt, they were of 120-130 kilos,” he said. However the film has been granted a 'UA' in spite of the CBFC's clean chit. This, say sources, is in keeping with the 'violent spirit' of wrestling.
