Box Office Update: Amidst Coronavirus Scare, Angrezi Medium Gets A Poor Opening

Irfaan Khan's Angrezi Medium has not been able to open well in the morning shows because of Coronavirus scare.

New Delhi: Irfaan Khan starrer Angrezi Medium hits the theatre this Friday amidst corona scare. The film also starting Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most-awaited film of 2020. However, the early reports of the film is not good as the booking is being affected due to the corona scare. Most of the shows are opening to less than ten percent. While speaking to ABP News a Mumbai theatre's ticket seller revealed that morning show opening numbers are quite disappointing and similar is the case of noon shows. Approximately 3-4% bookings have been done so far. Last week Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 3 was released and it is also getting affected some of the noon shows have zero booking for the same. Clearly people are avoiding going to theatres as it is advised too. Meanwhile, Delhi government on Thursday announced that all the theatres will remain shut till March 31, which will further affect the collection of these films. Angreji Medium is Irfaan Khan's comeback film after his battle with cancer and the early reviews have been good so far.
