Box office collection day 9: Baahubali 2 becomes first Indian movie to collect Rs 1,000 crore

New Delhi: SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is unstoppable and setting a new benchmark for Indian cinema. Movie has broken all collection records at the box office. The movie has crossed Rs 1000 crore worldwide in just 9 days according to trade analyst Ramesh Bala and became the first Indian movie to earn Rs 1,000 crore.   Since its release Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia starrer ‘Baahubali’ has broken all records of Indian cinema and making new unbeatable records.   Karan Johar took to twitter to share the news and wrote, "The biggest milestone has been reached by the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema!!!! #1000croreBaahubali @ssrajamouli"   Baahubali was released over 9,000 screens worldwide. Film also stars Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
