'Blockbuster First Half': Fans React As SRK's Pathaan Completes Half-Way Screening

Pathaan, is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and stars biggest superstars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. 

New Delhi: As the first day first show of Shah Rukh Khan's new movie 'Pathaan' nears its first screening across the country, fans were quick to share their reactions on Twitter. "Blockbuster First Half" said one user while another called the movie's first half "staggering". The most awaited film in Indian cinema after a long, long time, Pathaan, is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and stars biggest superstars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. 

Adrenaline ran high during Shah Rukh Khan's entry as one user's tweet suggested "theatre turned into a stadium…" while Salman Khan's cameo served as a cherry on the top.

Pathaan opens in the most typical action films of this genre; in Pakistan, as it preps to bring ‘ India to its knees’. SRK is formidable as an action hero, complimented by an equally bold adversary Deepika Padukone. John Abraham plays an ex-RAW agent who has gone rogue because he loses his wife after India refuses to pay ransom for him and his wife who are captured by a terrorist group.

Surrounded in controversy, the film opened to early morning shows amidst the anticipation which fans have for the mega release.
