Ayesha Takia shuts down trollers over plastic surgery row

NEW DELHI: Actress Ayesha Takia Azmi who became victim of online trolls after her latest pictures with swollen lips and frozen face broke the internet has finally lashed out at those criticising her. The 'Wanted' actress' new look made people wonder if she had undergone plastic surgery.   Reacting to it, Ayesha took to Instagram and shared a cryptic photograph which read: "You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches."

She later posted another image of herself taking a selfie. In the caption, the actress wrote: "Crazy long arm? Me taking selfie! Why not! Stop selfie shaming all you girls and guys who love yourself enough to take your own picture and feel good about it should be proud.
"Don't let anyone tell you to dim your confidence and self love. We live in a world of judgements and bullying, so we need to rise above that and just be who we are and be proud of it. Love yourself," she added. Here is her another picture which makes it clear that she is standing strong against all backlash.
While talking to indianexpress.com, Ayesha didn't confirm a cosmetic surgery but she seems to be unaffected by consistent trolling. She said, "A handful of vicious people and gossip columns have decided to totally morph and distort my pics but the truth will prevail as I’m on social media every day and shooting / out and about people can see what I really look like and luckily I have amazing followers on Instagram who I interact with daily, so they have not believed these lies and supported me all the way."
