Mumbai Rave Party Case Highlights: SRK's Aryan Khan Sent To 14-Day Judicial Custody. Court To Hear His Bail Plea Tomorrow
Aryan Khan Bail Hearing Live Updates: Shah Rukh Khan's son and seven others will be produced before a court in connection with an alleged rave party case.
A Mumbai magistrate court sent Aryan Khan and seven others to 14 days judicial custody in connection with the drugs seizure case. The court declined the NCB's plea seeking further custody till October 11 for the main accused. The case has also been transfered for further hearing to the Special NDPS Court.
According to Bar and Bench, Satish Maneshinde told the court that there was 'nothing on record' to show that the accused in the case were connected. Satish, who is Aryan's lawyer, had earlier represented Rhea Chakraborty in Sushant Singh Rajput's case.
"Jo Galat Hai Woh Galat Hai. Galat Ko Galat Kahna Seekhiye Bina Kisi Se Dare. We all must support #AryanKhan who is framed in drugs fake case. It’s unacceptable!," Kamaal Rashid Khan tweeted. The self-proclaimed critic alleged that Aryan Khan was framed in 'fake drugs case'. KRK's tweet comes a time when the court is hearing Aryan's bail plea.
Without mentioning Hrithik Roshan’s name, Kangana Ranaut wrote on her Insta story, "Now all Mafia Pappu coming to Aaryan Khan's defence... We make mistakes but we mustn't glorify them... I trust this will give him perspective and also make him realise the consequences of his actions... Hopefully, it can evolve him and make him better and bigger. It's good not to gossip about someone when they are vulnerable but it's criminal to make them feel that they did no wrong."
Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan trended on Twitter after he shared a post for SRK's son Aryan Khan. He wrote, "My dear Aryan .
Life is a strange ride . It’s great because it’s uncertain. It’s great cause it throws you curve balls, but god is kind. He gives only the toughest ones the toughest balls to play. You know you are chosen when amidst the chaos you can feel the pressure to hold your own. And I know you must feel it now. The anger, the confusion, the helplessness. Aaah , the very ingredients that are needed to burn the hero out from inside you."
Background
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, Arbaz Seth Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha and five others will be produced before a Mumbai court on Thursday (October 7) in connection with a raid at an alleged rave party on a cruise. An Esplanade court sent Khan, Merchant, Dhamecha and others to NCB custody till October 7.
Aryan Khan’s lawyer will apply for his bail again as his NCB custody is ending on Thursday. During the last hearing, NCB sought custody of Khan and others to verify links related to the case. Additional Solicitor-General Anil Singh contended that the links found on Khan's WhatsApp chats pointed to an international racket, as per IANS.
Satish Maneshinde, who represented Aryan, told the court that his client was invited by the party organisers and Khan didn't pay any amount for the party. He added that no drugs were found on him and NCB couldn't only rely on WhatsApp chats in the case.
The court rejected Khan, Merchant and Dhamecha's plea for bail and sent them to NCB's custody after hearing the arguments between the NCB lawyers and the advocates of the trio.
