New Delhi: Don (2006) and Don 2 (2011) director Farhan Akhtar, who made a splash in Bollywood, just released the classy first image of Ranveer Singh as Don in the third installment of the franchise, even though fans still have a long wait for any new information about the picture. Arjun Rampal, who played a pivotal role in the first reboot of Don: The Chase begins as Jasjit Ahuja, expressed his thoughts by drawing comparisons between the movie and some of the biggest franchises in Hollywood, including James Bond and Mission Impossible.

Arjun Rampal praised Ranveer Singh in an interview with Zoom Entertainment, calling him a "fantastic actor." Additionally, he used certain Hollywood films as examples while expressing his thoughts on Don 3. "I think it's good," he said to the portal. It is like when you do a Bourne Ultimatum, or a Bourne Identity or a James Bond (film). Don’s that kind of a franchise. So, the mantle’s being put onto Ranveer’s shoulders. I think he is a fantastic actor and I think he will give it his best shot. So, I wish him all the best."

Fans hoped that Farhan Akhtar would get involved in the production of Don 3 despite the new Don receiving mixed reviews. The movie, in which Ranveer Singh plays the major role, is currently scheduled for release in 2025. However, a recent report has fueled rumours that the movie may be postponed. According to a recent source, Farhan is in negotiations to star in the projects Champions and Begin Again. If he accepts to direct the flicks, he'll probably finish them up before getting started on Don 3.

According to a source, Vikram Malhotra's Abundantia Entertainment will produce the Nitya Mehra-directed remake of the 2013 movie Begin Again, starring Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo. For a time now, Farhan and Nitya have been in discussions about making a musical comedy; the project is currently in an advanced stage of production. According to reports, it will begin production by the end of this year and have a start-to-finish schedule. It is a remake of the 2013 Hollywood blockbuster, Begin Again. The movie follows an artist as they develop a record-breaking album, according to the source.
