Ratna Pathak Shah recently questioned stars who don't even ask for coffee on flights.
New Delhi: Ratna Pathak Shah recently questioned stars who don't even ask for coffee on flights and have their assistant handle all of their work. The seasoned actor, while discussing her new web series, 'Happy Family Conditions Apply', in which she plays Hemlata Ben, talked about some of the Bollywood celebrities.
Ratna stated that she thinks the current "entourage" trend is extremely risky because there is more to life than this. She expressed having seen a similar incident on a flight and appeared furious as she said so.
"I have seen actors on a plane won't even ask for a cup of coffee. The coffee is brought by assistant, assistant opens the cup, actor takes sip, hands it back to assistant. What are you? A three-month-old child? Is tarah ka dependance! Kuch aur to socho mere bhaio aur beheno (such dependance, give it a thought my brothers and sisters). Life is more than just this. I find that so dangerous! So dangerous!" she said during and interview with Film Companion.
A clip from the same interview was shared by an Instagram User. Check out the clip here:
Meanwhile, Ratna Pathak Shah has collaborated with Jamnadas Majethia and Aatish Kapadia again for the web series 'Happy Family: Conditions Apply'.
"Hemlata is a complicated character to play, it's not easy as Maya Sarabhai, it's also not one dimensional so it definitely was a challenge, when Atish narrated and as the episode progressed the character too was having a good graph, the both character of Hemlata and Maya are outspoken in their own completely different ways, And I hope this character works out she is not smooth but yet she is charming," she said while talking about her character.
The series stars an ensemble cast comprising Ratna Pathak Shah, Raj Babbar, Atul Kulkarni, Ayesha Julka, Raunaq Kamdar, Meenal Sahu, Sanah Kapur, and Ahaan Saboo in pivotal roles. It is created by Jamnadas Majethia and Aatish Kapadia, under the banner Hats Off Productions.
