Bollywood's 'desi girl' turned Global star Priyanka Chopra & American singer-actor Nick Jonas finally made their relationship official with a traditional roka ceremony on 18th August which was attended by their families and close friends. Last month, Priyanka Chopra walked out of Salman Khan's 'Bharat' after which there were reports that she will get married to Nick Jonas in September on the occasion of his 26th birthday. Though the couple has not reacted on the same, Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra has finally opened up on their wedding plans. These are just baseless rumours. Both of them have work commitments right now which they need to finish. They will take some time to decide where they want it and when they want it.” She also revealed that she wishes a traditional Indian wedding for daughter Priyanka. She said,“My daughter knew I wanted a roka before the marriage, so she never said ‘no’. I haven’t forced any of my thoughts on her, but I definitely want a traditional Indian wedding. That’s my only wish. I started the roka with a puja, which is important for me. Sharing details about the cermeony, Madhu chopra further told DNA that, “Nick enjoyed the prayers during the puja. It was a new thing for him and he took it seriously. He followed what our panditji said, and chanted the Sanskrit mantras accurately. Both he and his parents did it beautifully. They are nice people. Nick is calm and mature. He’s a wonderful person and everyone in the family just loves him. He’s so polite and respectful towards elders. What more can a mother want.” On the career front, Priyanka Chopra is busy shooting for her next Bollywood film 'The Sky Is Pink' co-starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
