Alia Bhatt Turns Producer With ‘Darlings’; ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ Actress To Co-Star With Shefali Shah In SRK’s Movie

New Delhi: There is no stopping in climbing the ladder of success when it comes to Alia Bhatt. The actress made her debut in the Hindi film industry at a very young age and since then, she has come a long way in her career.
Recently, Alia Bhatt launched her own production house ‘Eternal Sunshine’. And soon after, the ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ actress announced the first project under her production house. Alia turned into a producer with her upcoming movie ‘Darlings’ in association with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Red Chillies Entertainment’. ‘Darlings’ is an upcoming dark-comedy film starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Matthew.
The ‘RRR’ actress took to her Instagram and announced her upcoming film ‘Darlings’ with a special note. She wrote, “This one's special! 😊♥️ Announcing #Darlings, my first ever production under @eternalsunshineproduction, in association with my fav @iamsrk’s @redchilliesent! Starring the amazing @shefalishahofficial, @itsvijayvarma, @roshan.matthew Directed by @jasmeet_k_reen & produced by @gaurikhan, @_gauravverma”.
Alia also announced the launch of her production house in a special post, “And I am so happy to announce....PRODUCTION!! ☀️ Eternal Sunshine Productions. Let us tell you tales. Happy tales. Warm and fuzzy tales. Real tales. Timeless tales. @eternalsunshineproduction”.
‘Darlings’ will be directed by Jasmeet K. Reen. SRK also took to his Twitter and announced the upcoming film. The ‘Pathan’ actor tweeted, “Life is tough Darlings, but so are you....both! Unleashing our #Darlings onto the world....Caution is advisable. PS : yeh comedy thodi dark hai...”
Meanwhile, the teaser of Alia’s next movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ received lots of praises. The actress will be seen portraying the character of Gangubai Kothewali, the queen of a brothel in Kamathipura in this upcoming biographical crime drama.
Other than ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘Darlings’, Alia also has ‘RRR’ and ‘Brahmastra’ in her kitty.
