Alia Bhatt In Talks With Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Red Chillies Entertainment’ For A Woman Centric Comic Drama?

Based on reports, the ‘Sadak 2’ actress has been a part of the first narration and might be in talks with SRK for collaboration. Read on.

When Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt collaborated for the first time in ‘Dear Zindagi’ back in 2016, they ruled the hearts of the audience with their on-screen chemistry. The pair left the viewers yearning for more with their acting. Gauri Shinde’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ portrayed King Khan in the role of a counsellor while the ‘Highway’ actress was the one seeking help. Their performance was loved by both the fans and critics. Reportedly, the pair will be collaborating for the second time but SRK might step in as a producer this time. The report by Mid-Day also added that the ‘Kalank’ actress has loved the script and is eager on taking up this project. However, Bhatt will be waiting for the final script and will take a call post that reportedly. A source informed the daily, “Among the many projects on Red Chillies Entertainment's roster is a woman-led comic-drama. The first round of narration has happened with Alia, who has expressed her interest in the subject. She will hear the final script in the coming months, post which she will sign on the dotted line. The makers have a few directors in mind and will zero in on one soon. The film is likely to go on floors by early next year.” Speaking on the professional front, the ‘SOTY’ actress’ next ‘Sadak 2’ is all set to premiere on August 28 on digital platform Disney+Hotstar. Alia Bhatt also has ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘RRR’ in her kitty.
