Bollywood filmmakers have announced the release dates of their movies after the Maharashtra government confirmed that the cinema halls will reopen in the state from October 22, 2021. Many big-budget movies like 'Laal Singh Chaddha', 'Shamshera', 'Prithviraj', 'Radhe Shyam', 'KGF Chapter 2' will arrive in the cinema halls in 2022.

Trade pundits are hoping that the upcoming films will revive the theatrical business, who has been affected due to the COVID-19 crisis.
