Alia Bhatt And Vedang Raina Wrap Up Shooting For Jigra, Shares Cute BTS Photos
Today, Alia Bhatt announced that the filming for her new movie 'Jigra' with Vedang Raina was finished.
New Delhi: Actress Alia Bhatt, known for her versatility and stellar performances, is gearing up for her next venture, 'Jigra', in collaboration with filmmaker Vasan Bala. Notably, this film also marks her second project as a producer under her production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions. The actress is working with 'The Archies' actor Vedang Raina. They recently wrapped up shooting for 'Jigra', as announced by the star herself. The movie is set to come out on September 27, 2024.
On Thursday, Alia Bhatt posted some cute behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, including her co-star Vedang Raina. The pictures show the two laughing and standing together, with the skyline and riverside in the background. Another shot shows Vedang Raina hiding his face.
Along with the pictures, Alia Bhatt expressed her excitement, writing, "jigra oh, abki teri baari ho @vedangraina. And that’s a film wrap on #JIGRA @vasanbala @swapsagram. See you soon."

In a recent interview, Alia Bhatt discussed her venture into production, describing it as a blend of excitement and overwhelm. Alia said, as quoted by Film Companion, “I believe stories are everywhere, and stories are everything! I turned producer with Eternal Sunshine to tell some of these stories, ones that evoke emotions and leave an impact. Our first production, Darlings, got so much love that it was exciting and overwhelming at the same time.”

Aside from 'Jigra', Alia has been making waves in Hollywood with her debut film 'Heart Of Stone' released in 2023. She was also seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' alongside Ranveer Singh. Her upcoming projects include 'Jee Le Zaraa' alongside Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif, as well as 'Love & War', a collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
