Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar shot for an ad film for the government at Mumbai’s Kamalistan studio during the COVID-19 lockdown. The ad film, which was released earlier this month, aims to encourage the people to go back to their work and take proper precautionary measures to keep the deadly virus at bay. Talking about his shoot experience, Akshay Kumar said, “I was very excited to face the camera again after several days. I also felt strange because we had less than half the number of crew members on the sets as compared to normal days. Meeting people while following social distancing gave me a different kind of feeling. We usually shake hands or hug when we meet someone. I couldn’t even hug R Balki sir.” “Everything was sanitized repeatedly on the sets. Our body temperature was also checked at regular intervals. We also had to wear masks on the sets. The assistants also stood at a certain distance while explaining the scenes. Some people also wore a mask shield. It seemed as if we were going to a war,” the ‘Kesari’ actor added.
