BellBottom Release Date: Akshay Kumar Starrer To Hit Silver Screens On May 28

Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor and Lara Dutta starrer 'BellBottom' will entertain the audience from May 28, 2021.

It is turning out to be a blockbuster Friday as the makers of three big films have announced the release date. Earlier in the day, we informed you that Luv Ranjan’s upcoming film will hit the silver screens on March 18, 2022. The yet-to-be titled movie starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will entertain the audience on the occasion of Holi 2022.

The producers of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘BellBottom’ have announced the film’s release date. The spy thriller is scheduled to hit the cinema halls on May 28, 2021.

Producer Jackky Bhagnani took to Twitter to share the release date of ‘BellBottom’ with the fans. He tweeted, “Mark your calendar #Bellbottom arrives in cinemas near you on 28th May, 2021.”

Popular TV actor Anirrudh Dave, who will be seen as Captain Sameer Mehra in the film, sent his wishes to the team. He wrote, “Best wishes to the team @poojafilms#bellbottom on 28 may. Be ready for another masterpiece of sir Akshay Kumar.”

BellBottom To Clash With Fast & Furious 9?

Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, John Cena and Tyrese Gibson starrer ‘Fast & Furious 9’ is slated to hit the silver screens on May 28, 2021. The action film, directed by Justin Lin, got delayed due to several reasons. If things go as per plans, we might see a clash between ‘F9’ and ‘BellBottom’ at the domestic box office.

The makers of ‘Bellbottom’ shot for the film in Scotland amid the COVID-19 crisis. The spy thriller became the first Hindi movie to start and wrap up the shoot during the Coronavirus pandemic. The cast and crew completed the shooting schedule in October 2020.

The film was earlier scheduled to release on April 2, 2021. The producers had unveiled a teaser on October 5, 2020. The highly anticipated flick is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Nikkhil Advani.

BellBottom Cast

The much-awaited film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi. The movie has been helmed by Ranjit M Tewari.

Interestingly, Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ and John Abraham starrer ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ will also release in May 2021. The two movies will clash at the box office on Eid.
