Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan & Dhanush Starrer 'AtrangiRe' Gets Its Release Date

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is on a roll. The ‘PadMan’ star will entertain the audience with films belonging to different genres in 2021. After a not-so-happening 2020, Khiladi Khiladi is all set to create magic on the big screen with several big budgeted films. Earlier in the day, the makers of Akshay starrer ‘BellBottom’ announce the film’s release date. The movie buffs have not been able to control their excitement ever since it was revealed that the spy thriller will hit the silver screens on May 28, 2021.

February 19 is turning out to be a blockbuster Friday as several producers have announced the release date of their films. The makers of ‘AtrangiRe’ also shared an interesting development with the fans. The upcoming film has finally got its release date.

The romantic drama starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush will hit the silver screens on August 6, 2021. Yes, you read that right!

The cast and crew commenced the shoot of the film in March 2020. Last year, the team resumed the shooting in Madhurai in October, seven months after the shoot was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fans are quite excited to Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in a project. The pictures of the two tinsel celebs from the sets created lot of buzz on social media.

South star Dhanush, who worked with Aanand L Rai in ‘Raanjhanaa’, will be seen as Deepak Kumar Dubay in ‘Atrangi Re’. Sara Ali Khan is rumoured to be his playing his on-screen wife.

‘AtrangiRe’ was originally slated to hit the cinema halls on February 14, 2021. However, the film’s release got delayed as the makers couldn’t complete the shoot on time due to the COVID-19 crisis. The Aanand L Rai directorial has been produced by T-Series, Cape of Good Films and Colour Yellow Productions.

YRF’s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ is also for a theatrical release in August 2021. The film starring Ranveer Singh will entertain the audience from August 27.
