Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor will be seen romancing each other for the first time on the big screen in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. The upcoming romantic drama has been making waves ever since the project was announced. The makers have finally announced the release date of ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. The much-awaited flick will hit the silver screens on July 9, 2021.
Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor have joined hands to produce the modern-day love story. The film will be directed Abhishek Kapoor, who helmed Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Kedarnath’.
Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the release date of ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. He tweeted, “AYUSHMANN KHURRANA - VANI KAPOOR: RELEASE DATE CONFIRMED... #ChandigarhKareAashiqui - starring #AyushmannKhurrana and #VaaniKapoor - to release in *cinemas* on 9 July 2021... Directed by #AbhishekKapoor... Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor.”
The cast and crew of ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ commenced the shoot in October 2020 in Chandigarh. They wrapped up the shoot in December 2020.
Ayushmann had shared a post on Instagram to make an announcement about his film. The ‘Bala’ star expressed his excitement over shooting for the flick in his hometown. He described the film as a ‘delightful progressive love story’. Check out his post!
Movie buffs are quite excited to see the chemistry between Ayushmann and Vaani for the first time in a film. The makers have managed to keep the details about the characters under wraps.
Both Ayushmann and Vaani have several exciting projects in pipeline. Earlier in the day, the makers of ‘BellBottom’ also announced the release date of the film. The spy thriller starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor and Lara will release on May 28, 2021.
Vaani also has ‘Shamshera’ lined up for release. The movie, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt is all set for a theatrical release on June 25, 2021.
Talking about Ayushmann, the ‘Dream Girl’ actor will soon commence the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Doctor G’.
