Months After Rishi Kapoor’s Death, Neetu Singh To Resume Shooting For Varun Dhawan And Kiara Advani’s Romantic Saga

The veteran actress Neetu Kapoor has been entertaining the audience with her stellar performances over the years. After her husband Rishi Kapoor’s demise, she has been spending time with her family amidst the lockdown period. According to the latest reports, the actress is all set to resume her work once again. Neetu Singh has signed a romantic comedy starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor. The ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ actress was last seen in the movie ‘Besharam’ in 2013.

Reportedly, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor will be playing the role of parents Varun Dhawan in the upcoming romantic comedy. This Raj Mehta movie will also star Kiara Advani which marks the second collaboration of the actress with the filmmaker after ‘Good Newwz’.
A source close to the development revealed, “It’s a script that Raj and his writing partner Rishabh Sharma have been working on for a while now. The untitled film is a romantic dramedy and should go on the floors around October-end or early-November.”
The source also further revealed that the story is set in North India and is not a sequel to the movie ‘Good Newwz’ starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.
Varun Dhawan, on the other hand, will be next seen starring with Sara Ali Khan in ‘Coolie No. 1’ and Sriram Raghavan’s film ‘Ekkis’ based on the journey of the 1971 war hero Arun Kheterpal.
