BTS' V Mourns The Loss Of Beloved Dog Yeontan, ARMY Pays Tribute

In a heart-wrenching post, BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) informed fans of the passing of his dear dog Yeontan.

New Delhi: Kim Taehyung, better known as BTS member V, broke the terrible news to his followers that his dog, Yeontan, had passed away. The singer's beloved Pomeranian, which he lovingly called "Tannie", died when he was doing his mandatory military duty. The news has shocked the ARMY, and many have taken to social media to express their sadness at V's furry companion.

V broke the news of Yeontan's death on December 2 via his Instagram Stories. He also shared a post with a bunch of pictures of his dog.

V’s Emotional Tribute to Yeontan

V wrote "Hello, ARMY. Are you all enjoying a warm and cozy year-end? Thankfully, the weather hasn’t gotten too cold yet! It feels like it’s been a while since I greeted ARMY through a song. The duet with my dear Hyoshin hyung, whom I truly admire, was such a joy, and I have wonderful memories of preparing the upcoming carol with the legendary Bing Crosby, someone I deeply respect. Time flew by, and here we are, already in December," in Korean and had it translated by a fan website before being uploaded on X (previously Twitter). 

He went on to say, "I’d be grateful if you could think of Yeontan from time to time, so that he can continue to be happy among the stars. I hope you all spend a warm year-end filled with love, and take a moment to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. Until the day we meet again, please stay healthy, ARMY. I love you and thank you always."

ARMY Pays Tribute to Yeontan

Yeontan was first introduced in 2017 and had been a part of V's life, even living with him and often appearing with him during audio sessions. Those who loved Yeontan and watched him grow with V over the years are devastated by the news of his death. Fans have taken to social media to pay tribute to V's dog.
