In a shocking and gruesome incident, a pet Labrador named Bruno was brutally beaten to death by three youths on a beach in Kerala.
The pet dog who used to play on a beach was sitting near a boat, when three youths started beating him using a stick while hanging the innocent pet from a fish hook. Later, Bruno was thrown into the sea. What was more pathetic that one of the accused even filmed the video which was later shared online and caused a huge uproar on social media with netizens demanding ‘Justice for Bruno’.

Reacting to the disgusting act of animal cruelty, scores of Bollywood actors expressed their anger over the incident.
Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram stories and wrote, "Disgusting!!! They cannot get away with this!!! Until they are punished people with this twisted mindset are not going to change!!!"
Disha Patani wrote, "Hope the culprits are found and severely punished."

The dog owner filed a complaint at Vizhinnam police station in Trivandrum, later some youths came to the house of the complainants with iron rods and threatened them for lodging complaints. However following social media outrage over the incident, police has arrested three persons, including a minor boy under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and Indian Penal Code section pertaining to maiming of animals.
